The Business Model of Path

In September 2018, the company announced the final end of the app on 18 October 2018. As of 1 October 2018, the app is no longer available on iTunes and the Google Play Store, and the Windows Phone version was withdrawn earlier.

Path was a social network that allows internet users to connect with a maximum of 150 people. Users update their stream by posting photos, adding tags for people, places and things, sharing moments of the day or writing messages. The services were free to use. If you subscribed to Path Premium, you received free sticker packs, free camera filters and exclusive access to both products before they were generally available. In May 2015, Path announced a deal to acquire Path and Path Talk from Daum Kakao, primarily to grow its community in Southeast Asia.
