Glovo was founded in 2015 by Oscar Pierre Miquel (CEO) & Sacha Michaud (Cofounder) in Barcelona. It is a Spanish on-demand delivery service. Via a mobile app, consumers have the possibility to order consumer goods such as food, medicines, but also meals from restaurants and have them delivered directly to them. In summary, Glovo delivers everything a city dweller needs to live. The company's mission is to guarantee everyone easy and, above all, fast access to goods at every conceivable location. Glovo promises a particularly fast service and a user-friendly ordering process. It is intended to help city dwellers in situations where it is not possible to leave the house/work/etc. to have this shopping service taken over by Glovo. This has changed the behaviour of consumers to purchase consumer goods by having the items they need delivered to them from the comfort of their own homes without any hassle. Glovo is now active in 23 different countries.
