Blinkist is a German startup that specialises in summarising key messages. The so-called Blinks summarise more than 5000 non-fiction books, articles and podcasts, in a few minutes the user can absorb the most important information. These blinks can either be read or listened to in audio book quality. Own authors curate media and summarise them into their core statements, so the most important statements are collected. Users have the option to personalise their account, select their interests from a wide range of categories and receive a customised offer. Blinkist offers users a "free blink of the day", all blinks beyond this can only be used with a paid subscription.
